On the 3rd week of the topic 'Summer' we talked about the dangers of the sun and how we can protect ourselves.  We have to be most careful when spending long hours at the beach.  We talked a about good behaviour while enjoying ourselves at the beach.  We should be careful not to annoy others and let everyone else, including our parents enjoy themselves too.  We should be very careful to leave our beaches clean for others to enjoy too.

This week we learned the letter 'g' (granc).  We included  many activities so that the children may remember the shape and sound of the letter.

During maths we learn about size (big/small, tall/short, long/short, thick/thin, wide/narrow) etc..  We also continued learning the value and recognition of number 10.  We also practised writing numbers.

This was a fun way to write numbers and then see them vanish so that we can write them all over again.

We made sun prints!  We traced a shape of our choice, then put it on a bright coloured cardboard on our display board in the corridor. we have to wait and see the sun work its magic and change the colour of the cardboard.

We made lovely cards and gifts for our dads.
