This week we talked about farm animals.  First, we talked about which animals are farm animals (new vocabulary).  The farmer cares for the animals on his farm.  He feeds them and gives them shelter. We talked about their young and their products. the noises they make and where they live.  We learned that all animals, like us human beings, need four basic things to survive.  They all need shelter, food, water and air. We made a paper plate chicken and a cow painting and collage.

The highlight this week was definitely the outing to Esplora.  The children were to eager to try new things and experiment.  They had a great time!

Last but not least I would like to share this video of Hedva.  Hedva was absent when we did the 'Show and tell', so a big well done to her mum who probably saw what we did here and took the initiative to help Hedva make up a few sentences about her pet and learning them by heart.
