On the second week of the topic 'Easter' we talked about our Easter traditions, both religious and the way we celebrate Easter in our homes.  We talked about the procession of Good Friday and the big celebration with the statue of Jesus on Easter Sunday.

This week, we revised the letter 'f' (f ta' figolla).

The pre-writing handouts this week were all Easter related.

We revised the numbers we already learned and we are now confident at finishing worksheets by ourselves.

This week we started learning the recognition and value of number 8.

      We made lovely Easter baskets.

We finished our Easter cards for mum and dad....

We decorated our own Easter egg and Easter figolla..........

.........and decorated our classroom.

.........and in preparation for Mother's Day, we went to Alka Ceramics and made a gift for our mummies using clay, all by ourselves.  It was a lovely experience and we later had time to go to the garden opposite to eat our lunch and play.

Wishing you all many Easter blessings!
